Full of fascinating facts, figures, trivia, stats, stories and anecdotes all relating to the long and colourful history of Cardiff City Football Club. From the Bluebirds most memorable matches and favourite sons; to the more gruesome games and the unsung heroes, this book tells the tales which have shaped the football club into the force it is today. Written by respected club historian and commentator Richard Shepherd, the book follows no set order, chronological or otherwise, but has plenty to keep any City fanatic coming back for more.

Richard Shepherd first saw Cardiff City play in April 1956, when his father took him to see the Bluebirds play Portsmouth in a First Division game at Ninian Park. Born in Porthcawl, Richard went on to become a well-known football reporter and commentator with BBC Radio Wales, Classic Gold 210 FM (Reading) and Real Radio. He now works for Cardiff City's media department as a journalist and broadcaster on Cardiff City World. He has produced several reference books on Cardiff City as well as other Welsh clubs.
